A Story That Began in a Small Italian Town
More than a decade ago, in a small town in the region east of Milan, Elda was working in her self-service laundry.
Every day, she watched customers arrive with the same expectation: clean clothing that felt fresh when they left.
Elda imagined something beyond traditional freshness.
She wanted the fragrance of freshly washed fabrics to become part of the experience. She wanted clothing to carry a distinctive scent beyond the laundry room, into the wardrobe and throughout the day.
Her interest in perfume led her to begin researching, experimenting, and developing concentrated essences created specifically for laundry.
In 2010, that idea became Le Essenze di Elda.
The first fragrances were born from a real laundry environment, not from a distant trend forecast. They were developed by someone who understood how people washed their clothes, how fragrance interacted with fabrics, and how meaningful a beautiful scent could become in an everyday routine.
What began inside one local laundry gradually grew into a full fragrance world.
The original collection expanded to dozens of laundry essences, including fragrances such as Diamante, Lavanda, Argan, and many others. Over time, the company extended its fragrance identity into fabric sprays, home fragrance, candles, detergents, personal-care products, and additional scent collections.
Today, the name has travelled far beyond the town where it began.
Its retailer network, growing product family, and loyal fragrance community reflect how one thoughtful idea can change an everyday habit.
Bringing the Story to Canada
When we discovered these Italian laundry fragrances, we immediately understood why they felt different.
They were not created to imitate a generic idea of “clean.”
Each scent had its own character.
Some were airy and fresh. Others were warm, floral, powdery, woody, comforting, or expressive. Fragrances unfolded through different notes rather than delivering one simple scent from beginning to end.
We saw an opportunity to bring that experience to Canadian homes.
aROMA Laundry became the Canadian home for a carefully selected collection of these Italian laundry perfumes.
Our purpose is not to introduce another oversized laundry product to an already crowded shelf.
We are introducing a different way to think about fabric fragrance.

Why We Chose Liquid
Traditional laundry fragrance is often associated with handfuls of solid beads poured directly into the washing-machine drum.
aROMA Laundry takes another path.
Our products use a concentrated liquid formula that is added manually to the fabric softener compartment.

How the Liquid Compares – Based on ingredients
Le Essenze di Elda is a liquid blend of raw essential oils and fluid solvents, it works entirely differently:
- It does not use polymer capsule technology to physically stick to the clothes.
- Instead, it absorbs into the rinse water as an oil-in-water solution.
- If not overused, it won't leave a residue on synthetic sportswear, compare to solid scent beads that "wrap" the fibers in plastic micro-capsules
There are no wax-based scent beads to scoop into the drum.
There is no need to estimate whether you added too little or too much.
Approximately 5 ml per 5 kg or 11 lb load is all that is recommended. One compact 100 ml bottle provides approximately 20 washes when used at the suggested dose.
The liquid formula is designed to disperse through the wash, including during cold-water cycles.
It is a precise, uncomplicated approach to scenting laundry.
